I've heard it's a badass road to ride when it's not covered in dump truck gravel and lawn clippings

Maybe next weekend I can see for myself

Meh... Yesterday and today very little gravel, and all the grass had been swept off the road. It was clear today and mostly yesterday. We did our usual 3090 run without incident. Not even a bobble.

Me and my buddy rode 149 and 3090 today, but we did not get out there til 230 or so, I got lost trying to find his house since I had not seen his bagged project truck...

anyway we had a blast it was amazing weather. We rode out from Conroe to 1097 to 149 to 3090, had a bite and rested at yankee's and then did the trip in reverse. Only one corner on 3090 had gravel and that was only on the way back...It was my buddy's first time on 3090, but he had an awesome time.

we did see a pretty big group of sport bikes heading south on our way out there, and I could have sworn I saw a few bikes that I had seen at MH meets before...like the last one in line was a blue/white gsxr with a female rider in a pink icon jacket...

anyway I am gonna go again next Sunday, if you guys want to have meeting spots down in Houston and maybe one in Montgomery that would rock...

Well good. Makes me feel better you guys went all the way out there and hit that road. I mean, Yankees burgers are good, but not 3090 good. LOL!!

hahah quoted for the truth! We came from the forest and needed some juicy boogers!!!

Yea I was pretty sure some of the bikes I saw were from MotoHouston, but wasn't 100% positive. It was a good day overall.

That was us heading back in from a ride. We went down 146 to 2790 and up through a couple more to Livingston. Then a long ride down 59 home. Couldn't have asked for a better day for a ride.
