Fairing Painting

Alright guys, as some of you know I have KingShit's old bike. I'm repairing it and probably keeping it for my own. I've gotten almost all the parts but i need to paint the fairings... how much is painting all the fairings and tank usually? Also, the tank has a dent, how much for that? Anyone know any shops that will do it? Again, i did a search, but i guess i suck. I'm just trying to get a rough estimate right now. Thnx GuyS!

krylon all the way. i did a sweet custom job on a pc case with just spray on primer, a base coat, a texture paint (looked like cracks), and some spray on gloss. it turned out black with red veins, was cool as . i might do something like that to my FZR, would be a fun project, and it if turns out crappy, i could just pay to get a pro job done.

You should flexston the bike. Swift used to have a bug that was all flexstoned. It was pimp.

In the right hands spray paint can look as good as any other paint job... in fact all paints apllied to cars, etc.. are sprayed out of cans. Painting is all about the prep work.

The problem with using spray paint is it doesnt come out evenly so its really tricky to get it right.... NO dout it can look pimp but its not easy to do....plus alot of times you spend more doing it that away then if you bought all the right paint given you already have the gun and compresser and what not.
