Angry Stolen Bikes

Well it happened to me.

Stolen -
2006 CBR1000RR Silver with decals taken off the right mid fairings. Rumble fender eliminator, gold chain, new PP2CT tires.
VIN JH2SC57036M202276

2007 DRZ400SM Black with 300 miles and paper plates.
( dont' have the vin at the moment

They were stored at a storage facility on I-45S just north of the Harley shop in The Woodlands. They also broke into 10+ other units.

If you happen to see these please report it. I've already turned them into the insurance company.

Thanks

sorry to hear this. You obviously did everything you could to keep them safe and they were still taken. There isn't any good way to stop a thief. All the anti-theft components do is stop the innocent.

did you have insurance on the storage unit or insurance on the bikes?

guess youre covered either way, but I was just curious if its storage unit insurance how much of a PITA it is to claim on.

The bikes were at a storage facility in TW. They were stolen Tuesday night.

I have State Farm Comp+Liability which covers the bikes. I have homeowners that covers the other stuff.

I work in Iraq so that's why they are stored.

CBR was not for sale. I just put $1400 into it when I was home in August.

They have securty cameras however - like anything else to work as a surveillance tool they have to be configured & maintained properly.

About being an inside job - I don't know. The owners are devastated and being very helpful ... also the are pi$$ed like me.

They made off with a lot of stuff from a lot of people :(
