i need help

i upgraded from my 500 a few months ago and i have trouble leaning in my turns. i do not feel confident and slow way down before i turn but this causes me to get left if i am riding with more experienced riders i was wondering if there was any advice you guys could give me or if i happen to be out riding with any of you experienced riders if you could give me some hands on pointers and let me know if i am doing anything wrong

it is very fustrating :BangHead:

that sucks. the MSF saved my plenty of times over the years and i have ridden alot on the street before i semi-retired a few months ago.

ill take you out to Crabb Road over the weekend if you like. My friend j14 has the same bike you have and i taught him well, but he has the MSF as a foundation.

until then, when you go into a turn slow down before the turn, look where you want to go (LOOK UP AND NOT DOWN), and then smoothly roll on the throttle through the turn. to turn left you push on the RIGHT clip-on and to turn right, push on the LEFT clipon. try it and you will see what im talking about.

if the weather holds up ill take you out this weekend before lunch (traffic picks up alot after 1pm)

The road i go to get warmed up is near Sugarland headed towards Rosenberg/Richmond
