Yea, this friend of me and radar's has a 1098 tricolor and is always brag'n about how awesome it is. Yet, when I watched him change the oil he had to take off both farings to do it. He also has to take off the fairings to get to the battery.

Me and doug always kid em and say we can total two bike at the track and still have 5k in our pockets for trackdays.

sv or similar

Hey whats up my .02 I think you would like a sv650 or something similar
you would have no trouble doing 70 or 80 mph anywhere it handles much better than the Hawk lol I think you would love it and it shouldn't be over whelming (spelling) they are fairly light. The big plus it you wouldn't have to worry about taking it to a shop for a looooooong time, if ever.

I think you would enjoy riding it..it would feel really powerful over the hawk
gotta love the twin~

SEE, I got past this a long time ago...and FWIW, a Duc 999 had keeping up with a 94 ZX7 on a straight Texas road for let's say 5 miles, at or around the 150 mph mark. I'm a bang for the buck kinda guy...Ducati just doesn't fall into that category

It's a step up from a boyfriend, but not quite a husband! It was his choice to be called that. I let him out of the basement to work or take me out or do chores, though.
