CMRA sprints this weekend anyone?

I'll be in SS-B, SS-A, and F-1 novice of course. Last race of the year, weather looks great, great track with lots of speed. If you've never been at the very end of the pit wall right before turn 1 during a race event, it is something to see.

I'm supposed to run C Superstock Saturday, but I don't think it's going to pan out. May run F2 if the cards fall in to place.

Not fast enough for the meat grinder class! Those fuggers running in the high 40's would only get to see my green rolling chicane on the track... I don't think mid-50's are going to get me any $3 plaque plates either

However, if I can talk Glenn in to leaving the SV there for me, I may be enticed to spring F2 or D Superbike... I think I could do something in those classes that wouldn't be too embarrassing.

I thought about doing SB-B this last race. I've never done this class before but I figured it would be more track time and since I don't have any points I'll start on the last row or two and see where I can work my way up to. Hmmmm, I wonder if that would hurt or help my rider index

Don't let the back rows scare you too much, I was worried about the same thing in my first CMRA race... but I came from 26th to 4th or so. Just put your head down and get off the line well, you can usually pass the whole first wave by turn 1.

The back row doesn't scare me, it will probably be pretty fun to pick my way towards the front. I'm average getting off the line but I'm way better than most on the brakes so that helps. I don't believe in showing someone my wheel when I'm trying to pass...I prefer to show my whole bike.

I'm doing some stuff, endurance and sprints.

Please know your grid spots when you take off on your hot lap. If you don't, I might make things easy for all of us and make you start from the rear. Also make sure your lowers are off when you come to tech. I'll ask you politely to leave, remove them and then come back; Grumpy will probably yell at you.

I take it you didn't pre-register? Then you're in a race to the registration table. Just get to registration first thing, that way everyone that signs up behind you (without points) is gridded behind you. You're still gonna be near the back, though.

I'll be right there beside you. I have haven't raced in B or C Superstock all year. I should be a lot better off in B&C Superbike.

yeah, i don't mind starting in the back.....i'm sure there will probably be 3 waves....so my goal is just to catch 2nd wave and try to get up in front of that wave.

it's gonna be a race all weekend....race with time gettin my bike together, race to registration, and the actual bike racing. i'm lookin forward to it.
