I just realized he's only 20 or 21. Give him five years or so- he'll grow out of the mushy stage. I hope... What were we saying about before?

I don't know what it was- but I don't think you're a nice guy like this kid.

I'm sorry for whoring up your thread- just been there, done that (13 years). It was good- I don't deny that, but I won't do it again. What bills can you possibly have acquired in only three years? I may have to rethink the selling the bike -at least long enough to get you out of any kind of debt you have, then buy another.

your bike is your stress relief. if you end up selling it youll find you dont have your "out" when you need it. and when the two of you get into fights itll be something you throw into her face:"I SOLD IT FOR YOU!". a man needs his toy. if youre selling it for school and to catch up on bills, thats one thing and you probably should. but dont EVER sell it for someone else's benefit.

You definitely need the education at this point. You should sell the bike.

okay- I'm a student, too, so I fully understand your need for money. Assuming your grades are good, you should apply to any scholarship club they offer. UHDowntown has scholars academy for science and math majors. You get in= automatic semester scholarships. Also you can get stipends for doing research or tutoring. I basically get paid to go to school. There's no reason you should have to pay for anything- just keep your grades up!

I'm yanking your chain. Ok here is the deal...only you know your situation. Not knowing your entire situation (income, expenditure, debt) we cannot truly give you a positive answer. It's going to be a lot of this or that based on emotion (on a bike forum), not financially motivated.

I can tell you this. UHCL tuition will increase with time. Why you might ask...well as an 06 alum that voted against the tuition hike during an SGA meeting and then being turned down later on I know it will continue to increase. Depending on your major books will also cost a lot (~600 per semester). I have had friends make it while waiting tables and going to UHCL in the Biology and Psychology departments. It's definately a good place to be, but you should truly weigh the pros and cons.

I will say one thing though, if the bike is your stress reliever then it is priceless.
