'Glad your friend is OK.

That reminds me.... folks, now that it's fall and the leaves are beginning to turn and drop from the trees, PLEASE be careful when you run across the leaves that fall on the streets. Once you're rolling on a blanket of them, it's like being on ice. I about lost it last year around this time.

Thanks for the reminder...sometimes blazing by those leaves would feel so cool. Kinda like running over the water next to the gutter to make a big o splash. Well yeah be careful out there an glad your friend is doin good.

Hey, we need more details here...you said he had some road rash and hurt his ankle.
1) Was he wearing a jacket or any other form of body protection?
2) What kind of shoes did he have on? (IE:Tennis shoes or boots).

I'm just curious for statistic reasons.

He was wearing jacket, helmet, and riding boots but the bike was on his foot until they hit the grass
