Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

Went to Academy with a couple of guys last night and bought a Seirus half-face, velcro mask for $20. This is perfect for Houston, full head cover gets hot, makes your helmet tight, and has a tendency to move around, even into our field of vision. The half-face with neck coverage gets down into your jacket and seals well around the bottom of your helmet to keep the wind out. Both make a huge difference on those 50-degree mornings.

Only drawback is they tend to be a bit thicker than the balacalacalaclavica, the baklava thing, so you can steam up a bit with all your vents closed.

I'd try one of these and an extra t-shirt before dropping $50 on a head condom.

Timidi mater non flet.
