I'm sorry... I read the thread title and got excited. Then I realized we're talking about tyers. Wrong forum.

Not that easy;

damaged cords could cause tire failure. patches from the inside w a plug used in conjunction are the only way to properly repair a tire; not that guey temporary plugs, for a small hole in the center tread only.

Glad you're safe. I saw blowout and wondered if you were typing from a borrowed laptop in a recovery room.

The nails and debris have been a real booger lately.

Yeah..I will plug a car tire, but then I have 3 more to keep me upright. I only go for new on the bike (happened a month ago )

Glad you are ok!

Rear flat is easier to control, but more $$ to replace!

That ain't no BS. Nothing like going into multiple turns and slowly realizing you have a flat, but it gets better, cause when I got onto the straight I slowed down and by that time I was running on probably 0 psi and my whole rear end was moving side to side as I'm slowing down and trying to pull off the road. Good times. Plugged it up, aired it up, and continued our journey to ride the 3 Twisted Sisters

this explains why chicks and the term "blowout" require additional coaching. you gotta teach them, they never wanna learn, and it's scary the first few times.

be glad it didn't happen on the 610 loop in one of the tight exit ramp turns in heavy traffic.

Now THAT would have been exciting - especially on the front tire.

Glad you didn't really have a blow-out I've heard about those on bikes! Glad you're okay and made it home.

The only blowout you had on your bike was when you almost dropped it three times. Go check those pink undies!!!!! They are brown now!
