Never had the gloves and it also is gonna depend on which kind you get.

I can tell you that the Teknic boots I got are holding up great. Been through one high speed crash and a few fast scrapes.

I have a teknic impulse leather jacket, and I love it. The perforated leather has kept me cool so far, and can't beat the price - I got mine for 160 from motorcycle superstore, its now been reduced to 140!

A steal IMO

Those short gloves look cool but don't protect your wrists. I'd get the longer ones.
I had a pair and crashed them twice. Second time I was in the top of third gear. With no injuries to hands or wrists.

I had a sticky situation at MSRH yesterday. My Teknic jacket broke open in a fall. The fall was not bad and barely scuffed up the leather but the teeth of the zipper broke causing some major road rash. That being said, I have had good experiences with Teknic but the leathers do concern me.
