Maybe.....or Bike Week in Myrtle Beach, my uncle has a beach house there, then Deals Gap and a Blue Ridge Parkway ride from Georgia to West Virginia.

19-20 hr drive. Trailer the bikes. From there about 5 hrs to hit the mountains.
My buddy and I trailered our bikes to Spartanburg, Sc, where I'm originally from, in 03. Drove straight thru, left the truck at my grandfathers and took off. Rode for 3 days and loaded up. Long, Long, Long weekend, but lots of fun.
we'll have to pencil this in....

Oh ....that's too long. I want to go this spring.....Maybe Daytona first, then Deals Gap!!! Would have to take at least a week off to do that one. I almost would preffer just to hit the Blue Ridge vs doing both. You may have to twist my arm.....it is doable though....

hmmmmm, Daytona sounds like lot's of fun..............but the chance of trouble is kinda high. Maybe Blue ridge only? Long weekend or a whole week? I may have another bike by then, would be a good break in ride?????

Yeah, you're right. We would get into trouble there. Whole week off. Deals Gap it is. Being as I grew up in those mountains, I know those roads as well as I know anything. I'll post some pics tomorrow of the last time we went there.

Maybe late April early May. Give the snow time to melt and the salt and gravel time to wash away.
