New bike

I looked at the Blue Book value and its at MSRP and KBB as well.
Can you negotiate the price on a new bike or is the price set in stone?

Thanks.

You can negotiate anything. If the dealer takes your offer is another question. BUT! there's more than one dealer in Houston. I'd never pay sticker price on something that drops 10% in value the minute I leave the dealer .

Once they receive the vehicle, it is theres.

Factory incentives help drop the price of the bike wo messing w the dealer income.

When they are more desparate for a sell, you're on top.

Very easy to negotiate the price. Find the model bike you want and all the stores that carry it. Find out the best price from each of them. Take the top 3 prices, starting with the 3rd best call them and tell them how much the 1st price is selling theirs for and see if they can beat it and so on. You can get a great deal in about 30 min. I got my gsxr discounted $1500. Also don't let them try to jack up the shipping and freight part.

i dont know how cheap your going to get a freshly released 09 r6 for. they are going to sell when they first come out. thats a given. but once they come out you could probably get an 08 thats left over dirty cheap. just a thought. i think this year was the remake for the r6 so it should be the same next year. you really should get a suzuki though! haha

I dont believe they have anymore 08s left. R1 nor the R6. Not the Raven Edition anyways. But I did finalize an 09 for a reasonable price.

Look for specials on cycletrader. I got my Kwak for 2050 off msrp...that's no special deal...that's just what you get off on that model at a specific dealership. I called all the others and they wanted to match it and not beat it...shoot some of them didn't believe the quote I held in my hand until I went over it line by line. If you need a Kwak lemme know and I'll point you in the right direction.

Same place I bought the 636...

Texas City Kawasaki...now Mainland Kawasaki.

MSRP 11549.00

Ad to price:
http://www.cycletrader.com/find/list...X-10R-93547193

I asked to see if there is more wiggle room...and there didn't seem to be so I was happy to pay the price I did.
