636....whats the big deal?

whats the big deal about this bikes at the track........a lot of the track bikes ive seen are 636...why is this.....do they handel better????

im asking cuz since i just sold my bike....next bike im getting will be track only....so i wanna stick with honda, but i see this 636 and they look real nice, but if there is nothing special about them...screw em...

so racers please enlight me

there was a guy at PP1 a while back saying that the 636 was suppouse to be a 599 killer and that those came out with a 1k cams and that does were kind of like a mini 1k....is all this true?

Dude that is horse shiit. 636 has probably the best all around power of any the mid power is awesome is a little bigger motor so its to be expected.

The 636 have low end than your 03 Honda! But that problem can be fixed! Buy and 07-08RR! I personally don't like the ride of the 636! it doesn't fit my body type and Honda does!

Well, the ZX6R has:
36 more CC
Wave rotors front and back
Slipper clutch
and a few other minor things that the Honda does not. It is also easier to work on because of the location of certain parts.

The 05 Honda we campaigned in the CMRA for the 2006 endurance series took a lot of development and we never got it to handle they way we would have liked.

Switched to a 636 for the next season and right out of the box we were able to set the bike up and get it to handle magnificiently. The ergonomics of the cockpit and bike put you more over the center of gravity of the bike.

Look at who won the C Superstock Class (600's) in CMRA Endurance the past 3 years. All on Kawasaki ZX6R's.
