i cant stress how true this is. Be VERY VERY CAREFUL on lime creek rd. i have ate it once on Lime Creek. its a fun road but till you run it once or twice take it easy, theres a couple of blind curves that sneak up on you and some turns that get tighter as they turn in whereas they look like they open up.

i was just up there last weekend. lime creek is sick!! watch for gravel on the turns. homeowners throw it into the road way. not joking. just remember that your not on a racetrack and you will be fine. also 1431 to marble falls is good 2222 is supposed to be good but we didnt get to it. best part of all this...your no more than an hour from downtown austin. awesome party and music scene. i will be taking regular trips to austin in the future.

I think it is awesome too. Do you think it is better than the three sisters and 16?

I had a great time this weekend riding in the Austin area. Thanks to everyone with input for specific roads to ride.

Lime creek was a serious road! Found it had debris in the lower water crossing sections of the road; so a very easy pace was warranted. Besides it also gets pretty narrow in sections and cagers have trouble keeping it in their lane. Also, really enjoyed 1431 along with a few others I found during the weekend. Heck, it hard to find a bad road in the whole area. The scenery and weather were great. Ill for sure be going back. Thanks again everyone!
