a little advice please

so i have a micron on exhaust on my 03 r6. (see pic) i was gearing up to go get some food when i walked outside and saw this dude standing over my layed down bike.:bang head:

he backed up into it...these are the damages

-snapped fairing stay
-mid fairing rash (right side)
-snapped front break lever
-snapped rearset foot rest
-rashed up exhaust
-seats messed up..no idea how..
-screwed up handle bars.
- pipe leading to canister is damaged

the bike is at the yami dealership and is going to be assest by his insurance company.

the question is..what do i do about the exhaust..

im finding that micron stopped making exhaust as of last summer, but im still finding them for sale by other companies.
http://store.micronexhaust.com/index...-R6&year=03-05

its 950$ ...should i ask for a check for 950? and let em fix the rest with stock parts?

taking suggestions

OR, if im completly off track..help me out here.

I don't see a pic

normally the insurance just cuts you a check for the damages if it's going to be repaired and then it's up to you do get it fixed.....if they are going to pay the dealer directly then yeah have them cut you a check for the aftermarket parts that the dealer can't get.

Unless you wanted something else for an exhaust. That's a little pricey in my book...

Hey, that pic of the bike with the helicopter, was it life-support air lifted to the dealer after the accident?
