Comparing 2 sidi boots

If I'm wanting to invest in a good rainproof boot, I want quality. I'm interested in the

SIDI Strada Rain vs Vertigo Rain.

Long term which do you think is better for a daily commuter? A price difference of $90. i have to admit the flashiness of the vertigo rain is appealing to the racer in me, but I want to know if the protection, ability to replace parts, and overall features makes it worth the additional investment for any cold/wet weather commuting?

Let me know!

It boils down to whether you want the added protection of a race boot or not.
