i can't believe they arrested the father. It's not like he had the kid on the bike while he was stunting or using him as part of a stunt.

would it be any diff if the kid were at a street race and got killed? like it or not even the public still see's that as reckless, and if dude were on both wheels when son darted out, you think he woulda been able to stop?

sucks all around.

They said the charges where dropped for now . My rule was always make my son sit in the back of the truck or in the front if i'm riding . People that go to asi need to keep their yonguns on a leash to be on the safe side !

I just dont see the point in arresting him on the spot like that. The cops should have handled the emergency with the kid, taken the information down, interviewed everyone they needed to interview and give that sh*t to the DA. Let the DA make the call whether to press the charges or not then go pick the dude up at his house.
, Id bet that he would have come in turned himself in if they just gave him a phone call.

FTP in this case.

I aggree with all on this one.. Yes u shouldnt have you kids dog, or fanclub close enoug that u can hit them.. Accidents happen all the time and i know i never think of something bad happenin till it happens..
Also +1 on FTP.. they should not have arrested him after that.. THat guy will probably be f'ed up the rest of his life.. Im sure it would be easier to live with yourself after an accident like that when your not ripped from your dead sons arms to get put in jail...
ANd regardless of the accident. They had permission to ride there.. Why did he go get arrested for stunting in the lot?
