Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop Oct. 11th!

It's that time again!

I've been involved with MH ever since it's inception, when Chris invited me over to post and help with tech questions etc.

I would like to take it a step further.

We see bikes daily at the shop that are in desperate need of basic maintenance.
Minor things that can easily be done by their owners but aren't, and then do turn into something major.

Most of the time it's because the owner isn't aware of what it is or how to do it.

So here's what I'm going to do;

Once a month on a Saturday at 9:30 a.m., we will be having a free Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop.

I will choose one participants bike, we will put it on a lift and go over all of the basic maintenance items that need to be done, and how to do them.

At the same time we will answer any basic maintenance questions you may have.

Because I would like everyone attending to be able to see everything, I'm limiting the workshop to 10-14 attendees each time.

The next one will be Saturday October 11th, at 9:30 a.m..

If the weather is too bad to ride, no worries, I'll put one of my bikes up.

Hope to see you all there!

Please post up on this thread if you're planning to attending.

NOTE: Because we had to cancel for Ike, I contacted the people who had signed up for that one.
The following have let me know they are planning to attend this one:

1. R3N31 (Pending)
2. Blends
3. Bob Barker
4. Psychomedic
5. FKNA
6. RShih
7. Fatpooh2
8. Corona Rider
9. Trini
10. SetfAst
11. Derrick988
12.
13.
14.

Unless someone else drops out we've got 3 slots left!

Have fun everybody!!
I feel ya Chris. I don't know how many I missed this workshop due to prior engagements. Then the ONE and ONLY time I'm free, Ike has to come to town and jack everything up. And the only reason I'm free this weekend is because of Ike. I was slated to spend the weekend in Galveston.

If you are reading this post and have not attended this workshop, I highly recommend that you do. It is an EXCELLENT workshop and I learned a lot of things. Even if you think you know it all, still attend. I guarantee that you will learn something.
