He thinks it needs a cam chain tensioner but says its hard to find a cluster w the same mileage he has?

wow... no offense to seller but he doesn't seem to know a whole lot about his bike.

I'd say unless you can get the price dropped sub-2k you need to buy something else like my 600 lol.

Seriously, was worth a look to reference but you could likely find better.

And even after you buy a used bike, you need to check it over, change fluids, expect tires soon, a chain, etc.

umm i think i know how much it cost to buy a dang bike and no its cheaper to fill up a gas of tank but use your brain smart guy. Its called thinking about the future and how much it will save in the long run to get a bike now before everyone and there mama get one and prices go up more due to demand, and no there is maintenance and insurance and gear you seem to think im oblivious to these things well im not the reason i dont have a bunch of money for the bike is the insurance and gear and msf so how about you keep your smart a** remarks to yourself thanks! and thanks on the info about the 250's "racer" and "GQ" i might just get one after all.

Depending on the bike purchased and riding style it may not be financially benefitial. Tires are another consideration that eat up alot of money if not prepared. Just a heads up...

Decide what you are able and willing to spend (total package, TTL, ins, gear, etc.). Decide what you really need (vs. want) and what you can handle in a bike. If you can wait at all, be patient. With this economy the prices will fall as people start dumping their toys. Each week I see at least one deal worth checking out.
