Hill Country 10/04/08

Trip didn't go as planned, only got to ride on Saturday. TXOUTLAW went wide on 336 headed South and killed the TL...

Here's a link to the pics we took, and we'll upload more vids as we get them done.

That sucks man. At least he is alright. What jacket was he wearing. Looks like the pants and Sidi boots held up well, but maybe not the case for the jacket.

Man, that really sucks on the wreck. Hopefully he's recovering pretty good and his stuff will get replaced. Someone up stairs watching out for him.

7 stitches, and sore. For head on into a rock wall at 30 mph +, he is fine.

Good ad to wear your gear!!!!! The jacket was fine, but it looks like something on the bike punched thru right next to the elbow pad.. textile jacket.

looks like he came out okay for hitting a rock wall nearly head on...I'll bet he's sore for a couple of days.

Good to hear the mountain did not eat him completely. 336 bit one of the riders in my group in August, heading north on 336 just before the Prade Ranch. He walked away too.

I'll be riding there this weekend.

Heal up quick!

Glad you are OK. I was actually thinking of going on this trip at one time, but did not want to burn my last couple of vacation days just yet. Besides I already did my Hill Country ride this year. Look forward to going again in the future.

Man, really sorry to hear about your wreck. Glad you're doing ok.

I've never seen a TL frame bust like that, that's pretty impressive. You have to really work on it to hurt that big piece of metal.

Heal up quick.

336 headed south. No music just wind noise and fairing buzz, so turn the volume down..
