My best pass was 11.283 1/4. Im not sure of the 1/8 best. I also ran stock E/T. Lost in second round. I busted time by .030. I wanted to let off a little but that Busa gainin on me wouldnt let me. I took 3rd in the 600. I have to make some changes on the bike. The clutch wont let me slip it like I want to. I am gonna replace a good clutch to try to get the feel I want. It will not slip at all. As soon as I let it out it grabs. Sounds perfect, but it drops RPMs too much and its killin my 60'. I have got to get the 60' back to where it was last year at least.

Robert, before doing your burnout(or right after) try leaning the bike over to the right side and with the tranny in neutral, work the the clutch in and out. With it healed over to the right, you are soaking the clutches in oil, sometimes that helps them slide. The steel plates could be warped also from the heat and that makes the clutch grabby....No telling how many passes are on that clutch, probably worth changing clutches. Also lube the sh*t out of the cable and lever assy. If you want, you can install the clutch at my house.

He got me by .150 at the tree. I was sleepin I guess.
I talked to the guy at Schnitz about the clutch Alan. He said there is no way its the clutch itself. He agrees it would be slipping its off and not the other way around. He said to try the other adjustments on the clutch cable. He says that will fix the issues. The cable is stretched and the plates wear down creating too much slack. My clutch is stuff as creating more tension to stretch it.Im just going to put a new cable on. I have a new one on the way, so I will check that out when it comes in. I also ordered the strap and a repair man. It will be a couple of days.

I'll list the results as soon as I unpack them.

But note this guys, at the speeds listed above, a teather kill swich is not required. Slower then 7.0 you get a pass on needing that. That's why we kept it for for 600s and at a 1/8th mile race. Something to remember for next time! Thanks to all that participated. Glad you enjoyed it. We may even do it again at San Antonio at our Dec 6th race.
