looking for a jacket for the winter time...

im looking to buy a new jacket for the winter... as of right now i only have my bike to go to school and other places (5-10 mile ride). Been studying late these past days and riding back to my apt with my mesh jacket on it feels cool and i know its going to get colder. i think its just mainly the wind and the mesh on the arms let wind flow in nicely. Im thinking about getting a textile jacket so i can use it in the summer also... Im also thinking to find a jacket that looks more casual so i can wear it at school as a jacket to keep me warm also.

i like the look of the alpinestars airflo textile jacket becuase it looks plain... which jacket would yall recommend thats in the $200 price range and is a good comfortable jacket.

What should i look into when buying a jacket?

thx

Why not get leather for winter time? I used to ride every night in 40-50 degree in the winter time, I just put on a hoodie and a leather jacket and was good to go. Also jeans inside my leather pants, felt great actually lol.
