some people are jerks

not sure if anyone else has problems like this but, i have this retarded old guy who has two harley's that sit in his garage/driveway all the time (he never rides the bike altho he allways has his harley gear on) and every time i come down the street this guy starts yelling at me like i can hear him,

so today im headed home like a block away from my house riding past my friends house who is out side so i rev the engine up high, then i turn the corner and head to my street where this idiot is hiding behind a truck infront of a house like 1 or 2 down from his, he jumps out infront of me as i pass him, i dont know if he just wants me to run over him or what but i was going like 20-25 i just went around him and gave him then turned around and gave him the finger as i headed away from him

this guy tells me he is going to call the cops on me next time he see's me and have them set up a radar trap infront of my house, i just dont understand what is wrong with these people, he probably should have laid off the drugs a bit when he was younger.

sorry just had to rant about this idiot

what you need to do is to get all your buddy, the more the better than rumble thought the neigborhood pass his house at a very slow speed then every one rev up the pipe see how it is compare to his harley noise, he, he.
just a though, just chill out and let him do what ever he want as long as you did not break any law, cause you don't know how crazy this old man is. next time he might come out with the shot gun in his arm and start blassing all the sport bikers.

You should have told him that you can't see why he'd have trouble keeping it under 20 with that cow parked all year long!

wheelie kick to the face, tourque-style, lol. ive dealt with guys like this too. their problem is they got a bike to prove they are big and tough men. HD's put off the image of tough, but cruising is really just pussified. they find out they can hardly handle that, let alone a real streetbike. they learn our bikes are faster, more agile. it threatens their ego and their manhood.

the best thing to do is squash it 1st thing. i see someone on a HD, or any cruiser, i just say "hey, nice bike...thats kinda cool" and of course the converstaion will always end up on the differences of bikes, styles, and personalities. i.e. "well i like this because..." i just respond to that with, "well, as long as your on two wheels, your cool in my book" and something along the lines of "this is what i like" and "to each their own" etc...

its kinda funny, cause by the end of it, i get the feeling that they feel inferior, but appreciate someone talking nice to them, and even having any sense of being accepted. alot of these guys have hopped on a sportbike, and are scared shitless of it. we get alot of respect, but they will never really admit it.

remember at their hearts they are just posers like us, lol...

umm...

except we ride real bikes...

That's fits the definition of stereotyping which, IMO, is unjustified. I have a Harley and I don't act like that, nor do any of the other Harley owners I know. There are some jerks out there, no doubt. But they are likely jerks anyway, not just because they own a Harley. I have been know to cuss about SS riders, though, but only because they do stupid stunts like weaving high-speed through heavy traffic and riding a wheelie for miles at 100+ MPH.

I'll ride with anyone, I don't care who you are and, unless it says Matell or Fisherprice, it's a "real" bike LOL
