Two things I have done:

1) removed the emergency release cord - if I need to egress the garage quickly, the ensuing adrenaline rush will help me quick through as expediently as pulling that cord.

2) garage is wired into the security system. open door, alarm goes off, police are notified, complete with "monitored home security" signs front and rear

This not a perfect system but my intention is not to be theft-proof. Just to make someone else's house a much more desirable target.

stop listing what u sold here - nobody cares...

they sell those concrete anchor kit thingys too... 12" x 12" x 36" hole... install kit/fill it... and secure it to the frame...

+1 on what ronnie said tho... you cannot absolutely prevent theft... you can only deter it...
