How do you Ride High RPM OR Low RPM

I'm going to start riding at about 6-7 RPM in 4th I like to twist and go instead of down shifting. Downside loud under tail exhaust and my seat gets hot.

Ride in cooler weather.

When I'm out riding the twisties I'm usually in 3rd for the curves and 4th in the straights. Sometimes 5th if I get up past 150mph. Personally, I would rather have the louder exhaust and hotter seats so I can remain in my power band.
