Good suits. At over twice the price of the Spartan, it's easy to look away from the Syed, BB and Vanson though.

I handled this suit before Carbon put his nasty azz in them. They are very well stitched and the leather is comparable to the Syeds in every way. Unlike my current set, the leather panels are well arranged and large, whereas mine are small panels that tend to rip the seams more easily.

I also liked the arrangement of the stretch panels and closures- something my current leathers are deficient in.

I think I may have made up my mind on the Spartans if I can sneak them by my financial adviser... maybe work an OT shift of extra day at the academy...

my custom fit syed suit cost me triple of what you paid, i'm pretty happy with them, but for 1/3 the cost....i would've been even happier.

You're the perfect customer. You redo your own leathers and don't complain about what you got delivered. Leathers should be tight to begin with and be comfortable after a day of racing/driving. But the adjustments you had to make to make them fit should have been done by the company. And the thickness off the leather is good but makes them stiff and conditioner won't help that, you should have ask for different kind of hides.

umm, it was somewhat of a developmental thing, I am the perfect customer, you're right! no need in about something small. leathers were lose in the beginning but after wearing them and conditioning them, they sucked up to conform to my body! perfect in my opinion!

the thickness is NOT what made them stiff, its the matte finish that made them stiff, two applications of leather conditioner and they are just as soft as they need to be!

sorry you take all this so personally. just want people to be aware of the fact that not all leathers are as safe as they appear, that's all.
