K; I'll admit I didn't watch the videos, but fiberglassing is very close to carbon fiber work. Difference is finish and using the material. slap aluminium paper around the park you want to copy, fiberglass it(on vinyl w resin), remove the aluminium paper and clean the cover you made. now overlay w the CF and the exact size will be remade. If there are alot of curves, start w a casting of the inside, that way when you overlay you can stretch the CF material.

Im by no means an expert in this but I like to tinker...
