re-beginner here - new to MH

Just getting back into riding after very long absence. Sold everything in 1991 and have ridden only a little since (I told you it was a long absence).

I live way up north near The Woodlands and I work in the Medical Center.

Since I am starting all over again I call myself a re-beginner. So, I still plan to take the MSF basic course again just to make sure I remember everything I am supposed to do.

I have not purchased a bike yet but I am leaning towards the Suzuki GS500 as it should let me ease back into the sport and keep me out of too much trouble.

Looking forward to meeting and riding with everyone if y'all can deal with this older fellow

Welcome!!!!

Im in the Woodlands also.

Remember to always wear your gear. If you like, I have an extra bike we could put around on. The busa is in maintenance rehab but I can do slower, short rides on it.

And when you are ready to do some riding, we have regular forest rides up to anderson, carlos area for a good meal and beautiful scenery or good knee draggers depending your preference. Sometimes we go meet up w TTD for some free parade laps, all skill levels.

This is a good group! Enjoy!

I also plan to gear up a lot more. Back then I felt like I was covered since I wore a old denim jacket, my work boots, gloves, jeans and a old used helmet. I think would feel naked if that was all wore on a bike these days. I can't believe the guys in flip-flops and tank tops. I am so thankful I never wrecked my bike.
