Sunday Ride 9/28

Hey I know a lot of you are doing a forest ride this morning but a friend of mine not yet part of this site wants to go riding and lets just say his skill is not really ready for that ride. So I was wondering if there are any other rides going on that arent so skill demanding.

I'd repost in the event section,

normally I'd be up for a casual ride, which the forest can be as well as long as the pace isn't pushed. Im done for a while short of around town trips. But once I get the bike up again I'd be more then happy to ride the forest or other rides at a more casual pace to provide an opportunity for them to learn.

In my opinion, if they are comfortable w highway travel, can panic stop and have a little over msf experience w corners, the forest and 3090 w trusted riders is the best and fastest way to learn. We have brought many out w less then 1k mls ever and they have been everlastingly thankful. The pace is toned down to their abilities so they always have someone to follow lines and someone that will sweep to not past them.

Aprreciate the input.................. He's actually my boss as well and as much as i like the guy he kinda jumped into the sport bike scene with both feet and forgot to look how deep it was first. IN that I mean his first sport bike to own was a 1098 tri colore and then just recently he bought a 2008 gsxr 1000. lol

I did a ride w a friend that use to do endurance racing; now rides a 1098. I was two up on a busa and he kept saying the whole time 'a busa cant do that.' LOL...

The bike is only gonna do what the rider allows it to. Money will buy you anything but doesn't mean its gonna look pretty when it never leans over. I hope he has the patience and skill to develop his ride comfortably enough.
