To the white eclipse (rant)

When I am in a lane, I prefer to be THE ONLY ONE IN MY LANE. Please dont use ME as a passing lane! You came 3" from killing me!!!!!

Explanation:

I was riding Hwy 6 in to work this morning. Around 5:20, I am cruising through Bear Creek in the left lane at around 70 MPH. There is a car next to me going 3 or 4 MPH slower. Out of nowhere, this eclipse passes both of us using MY lane! I just heard him go by at around 120MPH. He was a flash that literally missed my leg by 3 or 4 inches. I WILL hunt this F'er down. He/she better not use Hwy 6 every morning. It wa a white 92(?) eclipse GS with a dent in the right 1/4 panel (dont ask how I know that )

10+ years riding experince and you are suprised? I'd be , but hey, you have to expect it in Houston period. I find that any knucklehead that's an idiot will try to move into your lane even in HOV if you ride too much in the tire track they will do it! I hate Houston drivers period... traffic sucks here. I wish they'd legalize lane splitting and it would get better when we don't have to worry about a ticket for doing it. I have to keep moving to avoid those kind of idiots.

A 92 eclipse can do 120? That would have scared the out of me. I'm guessing you didn't grab the license plate number?

Ricers are rampant in Houston.

Sorry you had to deal with that this morning. I had to deal with a similar Toyota Supra this morning. It was the NA model with a huge body kit and wing.

True, if in fact it was doing 120, you know parts were coming off and scattering all over the road. You are lucky you weren't killed by shrapnel.

I wonder how I know that he has a dent in the quarter?

Not easy getting a plate at 120+, and he pulled another ricer trick, cutting across all lanes to exit to the I10 feeder when he saw me trying to get a plate #.

And I WAS surprised to see a NA eclipse do 122!! (estimated....of course)

I thinking about it later....his mirror might have gone UNDER my bar end.

I guess likes me today!
