Best of wishes for both of them. Hope alcohol wasn't involved. Never smart to run from police though.

Is this the one

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A motorcyclist led police on a wild chase before crashing in southeast Houston.
Calls about a reckless motorcyclist alerted police around 1:40am. The motorcyclist was able to escape from police twice before he slammed into the back of an HPD unit on the Gulf Freeway at College.
(Two males were on the bike) . The passenger died at the scene. The driver was taken to Ben Taub in serious, but stable condition.

running from the popo is just dumb, ok he may have gotten out of a ticket but look what he is facing now possible vehicular man slaughter, murder or whatever else they can hang him with and the fact that his friend died, I could not live with myself if I did some stupid like that. I think riding a bike comes with great deal of responceability especially if you have someone else on the back of your bike, very sad for the passengers family and the operators as well.

That really sux... The person on the back of the bike really has no control over what the driver does... It still sux that we lost another rider.
