All you need is a decent digital camera, a tri-pod, and some software called photomatix.

Setup your bike in the correct lighting, get the right angle etc, put the camera up on the tripod and you basically take around 3-5 shots from the same exact spot. After each shot you adjust shutterspeed and f-stop to get less and less light for each exposure, of those 5 shots, it goes from most light to least amount of light. Then you take all 5 exposures and combine them in photomatix as one picture, getting the effect you see here
