Talking

All right guys. It's 3 hrs to San Antonio from the west side. 3 hrs to Round Rock as well. That's hwy riding though. I think we can make it to San Marcos via the way back roads by 10:30 or 11:00. If time gets shory\t, we can hop on the freeway. Here's map. Let's get some input. Pick a spot.

"Starting from San Marcos I take Ranch road 12 and continue west where it turns into 32. You can see the real curvy part called Devils backbone a few miles before 3424. I take a left at 3424 and go south to 306.... Then head south around canyon lake and follow 306 all the way to I-35 which then I take north back to san marcos" - CK9887

I rode that back in May. I took a long weekend and rode about 800 miles all around there. That road is good. Not too tight, but great elevation changes!

OK. Route is set. When we get to Fayetteville we'll assess the time and make adjustments to the trip as needed.
We will meet at the Whataburger on Fry Rd. just North of I-10 beside the Home Depot on the west side of the road. Kickstands up @ 7:00 sharp guys. Any questions just PM me and I'll post my #

I'd like to ride with you Godzuki but not Thursday. We got to hook up some time and do them roads you know out west. I've got plenty of backroad experience myself. PM me any other time on the weekends to do other rides.
Always wear full leather gear when you ride, the less damage you'll sustain in the event you lose control. It dosn't matter how fast you ride, what does matter is how much protection you used. Dress for the worst is what a rider needs to know. If anyone of you know me, I'm a regular with the TSBA group. I also ride Track and never think I won't need gear. I've seen ALOT of accidents over the years. Wear your gear, that's the least you can do when your out riding. Common Sense - .02$
