I do take it easy when riding by myself, but not 55mph easy. Was doing 70-80mph in the curves and 100-125mph on the straights. I didn't post up because one minute I'm sitting at the computer and the next it's like FK it, I'm going for a ride.

The cam I'm using is a bullet/helmet cam. Recently I decided to hard wire it into the bike and mount the cam on the frame slider. Now it only takes me a few seconds to set it all up to take video instead of minutes and having cords hanging from my helmet.

What area do you live in? I'm pretty much West side, and I like to just head down 1093 to 1489 and start that route.
West side as well. Hwy 6 / Bellaire. If you get the itch, just pm me. I'm normally not available to ride on a week day, but I took a little bit of time off of work and do not return until Oct 13th

The rule of thumb I use when I am alone on the curves is double the posted. When riding in a group, I use a different strategy. If the 3 bikes in front of me make it through the curve without wiping out and without dragging knee, I know I can hit it at the same speed. If they're dragging knee, then I'll back off some and if they're not leaning much, I know I can roll on the throttle.

that was 1489. 1458 is further west.

i used to like 1458 but it's long, the road is , and there's several itty bitty towns with cops that sit around doing nothin all day becuase all there is to do there is work on your farm. i've come around a curve on 1458 and some dude was walking down the middle of the street with 2 horses and a mule. MIDDLE OF THE STREET.

That's why I stick to my rule of thumb win riding, for the unexpected such as the 2 horses and a mule.
