What is your brand loyalty and why?

Why do you ride a certain brand? Parental influence? Childhood hero? Have your loyalties changed?

I was a Kaw guy since the mid 80s. Jeff Ward did it for me. I raced KXs because Wardy did. It just turned into a love of the green.

Now, I am turning red. I'm liking my CBR a lot, love VFRs and the TRX450R, and have heard great things about the CRF450. I always hated Honda (thank Ricky Johnson, lol), but I'm coming around.

If you think the Zuke is narrow come try the Yami's. After sitting on that piece of goodness your susuki will feel like you are stradeling a barrel.

How tall?

I've always been partial to Honda (my Dad's fault). I am considering an R6 for a trackbike, though. My loyalty is waning with the competition being so fierce nowadays.

I was thinking about seeing what kind of a deal I could get on an 08 1000RR IF the 09 VFR doesnt live up to my expectations or duc makes the 1098 in white for 09. (the white 848 is pure sexy, but me wants a 1098!)

I love them all and have owned most expect a kawi(honda, suzuki, yammie, triumph, rocketa). I wouldn't mind an 04 ZX10 though

One day I'll have the cash to own a duck, prilla, KTM, and a Bimota on top of the other brands.

i like hondas... they seem to run hard and run for a while and can handle some abuse... just look at my 50....

and i really don't like kawi's, my first bike even after all routine maint being done it still quit at 29K and needed a new motor, we bought a motor with 14K on it, and it started knocking when it hit 25K...

and i don't like ford... had to rebuild too many engines due to bad design, on the one i had, had to replace the head 3 times, it was less than 1/8" thick AT the exhaust port

Ugh...HORRIBLE engines!! I had one!

The windsors are unbeatable, though. 269,000 miles is the least our family put on one of them, and that car was totaled at that point.

My first bike was a 2006 CBR600RR and I loved that baby but now that I ride the R6 I strongly believe that I am a yami man. It just feels was better at handling and the engine is more powerful. Plus the R1 since 2004 has been beautiful and that will be my next bike.
So Yamaha FTW!!!!!!!
