Buyers beware........ sad that it could be exploited to sell off bikes with incorrect mileage.... IE: mine is one of the cleanest 02's out there, just to look at it you would think it has around 2-3k miles on it, when in fact it has 31k and the odometer shows that correctly.... but to think I could pass it off for 3K- 4K even ? makes you wonder next time you look at a used bike.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm....

He also wants a copy of your title,a photocopy of your driver license (this has your signature on it), a SIGNED copy of his disclaimer, and a photocopy of your social security card(this should also have a signature on it). Now this guy has your signature, knows your driver license and social.... welcome to the wide world of identity theft.

I never understand why mileage is so important. It just means that you ride your bike and not just a garage queen.

i had to replace the gauges on my bike so it went from 19k to 21k. I don't really care cuz either way thats on the higher mileage end for bikes anyway.

i wouldnt think you could go too low becuase they record the mileage when it gets inspected and thats in a computer system. i dont know if they check but i would think they would realize the mileage went down.
