I don't think he pulled the e-brake, looks like he slammed on the brakes and tried to change lanes to avoid the stopped traffic.

Guess it's just me, but long before he hit the brakes I was looking up the road at all the parked traffic and wondering why the bike was still accelerating? I would have been slowing down long before all that occured.

Its a front wheel drive civic. If anything, the front brakes lock up, not the rear. Disk up front, drum in the back.

Also note how the front wheels continue to spin.

Actually, with a front drive it is easy to lock the back, with all the weight on the front

Watch the front tires as he goes sideways, they are locking and smoking. Also, antilock will keep the tires spinning, until you unweight them enough.

Either way, sitting here watching the video I was off the gas and on the brakes long before that car was....

I've owned a few Fail Wheel Drive cars and I really have to work that e-brake to make it spin that hard in a straight line.

I personally woulda pulled a McKee and done a front flip into the back winshield of the car to the right....I'm with Lurch on this one...traffic was already backing up, she should have been off the gas long before.
