Same here. I'm working 8-8 as much as I can until it gets better. I went home early @ 5pm the other day and 2 hours to achieve my normal 35-40 min morning commute. I'd pay $10-20 a day just to have my life back!

I was hoping we could get some type of temporary stay allowing riders in emergency lanes and lane splitting to make it safer, but yeah, wish for world peace too right? I had a cop toot the horn once as a warning while splitting on westpark this morning. He didn't move out (was undercover), I just kept moving....

I guess I got it good! I live 7 mi. from my driveway, to where I park @ work! It takes 15 min. to & from, no matter what, because I work 12 hr. shifts!

Screw all that useless stress! Plus, the Wear & tear on you & your vehicle!

is Good!

on the news it said most hovs will be open tomorrow, i think with the exception of I45. tolls...they didn't give an answer except it will still be free until further notice.

so far, it's taken me about 1.5-2 hours to get to work, from hwy6/bissonet area to downtown.

ok that 'my tollway' stuff is sarcasm. most people seem upset that most of the drivers clogging up their route (westpark for example) are only there because of the waived tolls. IMO I-10 has always been bad so no sense in

it does suck that we're wasting time sitting in traffic we wouldn't regularly be in, when there are places to be at and things to do (some have class, others 2nd jobs) so yea thats my rant for now

Oh well, I was one of those peeps using the belt this morning b/c it was free and early enough that it wasn't a parking lot YET...I've been taking my normal route the rest of the week and it has seemed kinda light

can someone please explain how the new I-10 HOV toll works? is it free if you have 2 people and up, do you pay if you're driving solo, can bikes still take th HOV free of charge? gah, who designs all this . seems so backwards and inefficient .
