Sorry to hear about your crash... My wife came home last night and as we were talking she mentioned that she saw a rider w/ full gear out riding and looked to be shaking off some pain.

Hope all is well.

Wasn't me, I wasn't going anywhere after I went down, it wasn't rideable, unless she saw me while I was waiting for a buddy to get the trailer. If she drives a white SUV then it could have been her that drove by, only one car went by while I was waiting.

Just got the bike back from the dealership and the estimate was $6350. I was thinking it was going to be around $3000 at the most, I'm going to go over it good this week and see what all needs to be replaced and how they came up with that much. I'm thinking they thought they were going to be fixing it and thought they'd line their pockets while they were at it.

Regardless, I'll be back on a bike soon, hopefully in about 2 weeks.

12,000 miles is a pretty good streak. glad to hear you were in full leathers though and came away from it relatively unscathed. you can still walk and talk though so there's plenty more riding in your future. hope you recover quickly and hope you learned something.
