Went down today

Today I went down for the first time in almost 12,000 miles. I hate to say it but it was purely my fault. I went into a turn way to fast and drug the left rearset and lowsided and the bike slid into a curb. I'm not sure if the rearset caused me to lose traction or if the tires gave first, but I think it was from dragging hard parts. Just from looking at it I think all I'll need are:

-all left side plastics
-left headlight
-front fairing
-fairing stay/air intake tube(guess this is what it's called)
-stator cover
-left rearset
-exhaust(hit the curb)
-swingarm(hit the curb)
-tail section
-left clipon
-left mirror

I think that's everything so I guess it's time to upgrade some parts while I'm at it.

I was in full leathers, boots, full gloves, everything and for the most part am ok, I was fine for about 2-3 hours but now my left leg and foot are starting to throb, I think it's just bruised, nothing too serious.

Dang man, really sorry to hear about your misfortune. If you're still experiencing any pain tomorrow do yourself a favor and go get checked out by a doctor. Good luck with the bike, be sure to post up if you need any help putting her back together.

Glad to hear your safe. Also glad to hear you had leathers on or it could have been much worse than sore body parts.

Thanks, I PM'ed Bubby about the plastics. How are your injuries from your wreck, I was behind you when you went down, hope you're doing better.

State Farm already called me back and told me to get an estimate and they'd get me a check to get it fixed. Can't believe how fast they got back with me, the biggest holdup is going to be the dealership getting me an estimate, they said it would be about a week.

Thanks for the concern from everyone.
