The driver made an ILLEGAL turn and people died. Was it the drivers fault completely,no, but that does not change the fact that it was an illegal turn.
i wasnt disagreeing wether or not its illegal. i was disagreeing with it being the drivers fault. getting into grace church you have to make a wide right. riders should have been paying attention.

ok fine....it was still an illegal turn if it was made anywhere other than the right hand lane, that makes it partially the drivers fault.

not trying to beat you up mike, I just feel VERY strongly about professional drivers being safe at what they do. those same idiot "professionals" make it very hard for the good drivers that do it by the book. Right hand turns from the middle lane is not "by the book", and I hate having my job difficulty increased because of stuidity.

i know louis. im just saying because ive been taking that feeder every single day for over two years now and have had no problems. its kind of a tricky one, but even if youre on it for the first time you know to be careful because of how its set up. im just thinking that killing the two lads is punishment enough for the driver.

RIP to the fallen riders.

If a person is speeding by a truck on the feeder roads these days with all the post-hurricane traffic they are bound to get into problems like these two did.

Sounds like speed kills - again.

I stopped by the wreck that night. It was probably the worst ever seen. I heard some officers saw they thought the bikes were doing 100+. The truck driver probably never saw them coming.

Terrible loss. Prayers to the families.

2 Riders Fall...

One of the fallen was Bryan Bertrand... he was 21 and was a fellow rider and coworker of mine... he rode a R1 and he was laid to rest Tuesday September 23rd... The other rider was Bryan's high school friend and was riding a CBR600RR that Bryan had sold him... and having ridden "ONCE" with Bryan... I would find it safe to say that he was 100+ and riding very hard... Please remember Bryan's family in your thoughts and prayers...
