K's motorsports...

whats up everybody I just got a chance to get on the net.... but I have something I'd like to share with you guys. I picked a leak at the rear tire somewhere down 59 North. Stopped at K's after checking out the old Annes cycle shack, they where closed....so continued to K's and for a Maxxis tire installed they wanted 170+ ....I didnt even ask about a Pilot Power after hearing that price....they wouldn't give me any air to make it home.

any ideas around the Humble area or North Houston...I called holeshot(back order) Ill be calling Humble Kawi saturday as they were closed today.

Thanks

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

K's took my $1500 deposit on my busa, said they'd have it in a week. then it was two weeks, then a month, then they said they didn't know when it would show up from Japan.

I told them I wanted my $ back and they said that it was already deposited and that it was non-refundable. They of course had no paperwork signed that backd this up, so after much wrangling I got a check back from them, cashed it and took it to Richmond Suzuki and picked 'er up same day.

Been going to K's since 1978. Only because it's been the ONLY shop here in Humble til recent. I'd rather drive to Motorcycles Unlimited or Tejas Motorsports! They did help me unload my nephew's bike awhile back. A few of the salesmen are ok. I've had a dream for years to open a shop right across the highway from them. They really need to improve the service and customer relations there!

If a bike shop wouldnt give me air to get home....I would NEVER deal with them again AND I'd post it up just like you did.

Yea..Call Motorcycles Unlimited or Tejas.

I avoid K's. I'll go to Holeshot on 1960 for small parts and Motorcycles Unlimited for bike work or tires.

It is illegal for any shop to supply air to a tire that is below 80% of its recommended air pressure. That means wether you air it up or they do if they have given you air then not only are they facing a fine of up to 25,000 from the DOT but also millions of dollars in a law suit from stupid people that want free money. Sorry but thank the people like the Mcdonalds coffee lady.

I was unaware of that. I wonder if they relayed that law to the dude asking for air. If so, then he can't be mad. But it is ok to drop $.75 in a machine at a gas station and they do not fall under the same law?
