MHers Show Your Support - South Area

I would like to get a group of MHers to come with us in the morning down to help out at a FEMA POD location. The location is in Manvel and they will need help handing out food, water and MRE's to people. Depending on how many sign up we may need some to come in the morning and some to come in the afternoon. I would like to make a ride out of it and we can all meet up and ride there in the morning at 9am. If you can please come out and show some support.

Lots of Manvel has no power either, this area also serves all the rural areas surrounding which also have no power. Most of these people live on well water, no power = no water.

I wasnt trying to make Manvel seem any better or worse Ry, I was just throwing a suggestion out there which would also command a really good ride going to/coming back from......Ill go back to the corner and shut up now though........

I understand. Should post up a event out there, being its on a weekend prolly could get alot of people. I just know these guys some help, so I posted up. Not so much worried bout the riding. Just getting these guys some help. Most of these POD locations are struggling with only the local police to work/fire/ems to work.

This is tomorrow. We would be at Manvel HS @ 9am. Chances are it will be like the others I worked were cars line up and drive through and we load supplies in their car and they drive on through.

I don't think we will get enough people MH where we will need to split it so it will be a morning thing. Being its a volunteer thing, you can come and go as you need, but the more people that can help the better.

See post #13.

I thought you were talking about meeting up to ride down there, when I asked about more details.
I can be at Manvel H.S. at 9:00 no problem.

Oh. I was just gonna go by wherever the most people were near. How does 1128 & 518 sound? Say 8:45?

Falkryte PM sent and its 9 til whenever we are done, run out of supplies, someone comes to relieve us, or whenever you feel like leaving, its volunteering, they can't make you stay
