Bad News on 02meanie

As most of you know my father, who posts as 02meanie, was involved in a crash on the forest ride about a month ago. Doctors in College Station cleared him as just being bruised with a broken tail bone despite some pretty severe lower back pains. We're talking vomit-enducing, passing out pain froma 6'4" 350 lb man. He was sent home but the problems continued, so after a visit with our famlily doctor he was sent for a MRI (in College Station the basically did a Cat Scan if his tail bone and thats about it.)
Well, the results came back today and the news is pretty bad. At least one compression fracture (L1 vertabrae, I believe), 2 completely blown disks and numerous bone fragments in his spinal column. He has an appiontment with a neurologist tomorrow to see where we go from here, but your prayers would be appreciated. To top it all of, he lives in Chambers county and it doesn't look like he'll have power for another week. He's staying at my sisters apt. in Pearland.
This site has been a great help for him both before and after the wreck, and one of the first thing he asked me to do was post this here so his MH friends would know what was going on. We have a great community here guys and gals, and all of you are appreciated.

I think everything is ok right now because my brother works at LPISD, so he hasn't had to return to work. My Mom returns to work tomorrow, but between the family we have things covered. I'll be sure to post on here if we need anything. Thanks again!

My goodness. I've been so busy I haven't able to check the forums in a while. I recently switched careers and have been doing a lot since the storm and other such nonsense.

Keith, I've tried calling you a few times before and after the storm to check up on ya but I never got an answer. I hope you're doing better by now. Can you give us an update?
