how about the flooding? i wanted to head back tomorrow (today, sunday) but keep getting different positions on the power and flood conditions of clear lake from the news...

east of town?

Anyone near Baytown? Seen any signs of light around there?

We're holding that drag race there Sep 27th. I have no idea what the condition is in the area around houston raceway. Since I'm in Daytona, there's little tv coverage of any detail here.

Some of Deer park is on the main grid. There is power on the main, but thats it. They start with the mains and work out. My buddy works for Center Point and he is still unsure how long it will be. He has power and I'm headed home to stay with him. See my Generator add if you need one

Some of Atascocita and Humble have power back, as of yesterday evening... Most of our neighborhood's power lines are underground, though. I think that is what gets us up and running so quickly. (Same thing occurred after Rita, we were up within 18 hours).

lucky, still no power over here in west houston (westchase district) some places around us do but most are still out.
