Wheelies aren't the problem. Standing up is. I can pull em and ride em all over the place sitting down but if I stand up, I feel unnatural. Anything to help overcome that?

I think somewhere right around here it stopped being a "friendly" conversation!
Just my friendly opinion!
Besides, I thought the post was about wheelies?
I don't know how to do wheelies.
And I dont know how to pose!
AND I got no bling!

Standing wheelies are very unnatural to a person that learns sitdowns first. I know because sitdowns is what I learned first.

The best way to move to standups is praticing either in a big parkinglot or a pretty deserted road where cops don't patrol very often. I think staggered feet position is the best even though I have never used my rear brake to save me it is all about throttle control to me.

they only feel unnatural till you get up to the balance point. I woulf pratice them in second until you get them high enough to use the throttle to keep them up. Don't worry about keeping them up for long periods you can always pull them back up which is alot easier than looping and mangling up your stuff. It is just like the track you get better by doing a BUNCH of them instead of going crazy on one.

I still like sitdowns better than standups but I do enjoy both.

And wheelies are always cool in my book if you know how to ride them ...ANYWHERE. When you get bored and look around and if see no cops...git er up.

More gas.
Roll on the gas then off then on and pull up at the same time. It might come up slow at first then shoot up on you so be carefull.
