.. I haven't posted in over a year but this thread is worth it i guess.

Any new pics of that sportster Scotter? That bike is freaking sweet IMO.

Like Demon and others have said, its all about your taste. I could have bought 2 B-Queens for what i've put in my LowRider and know for me that it is worth every penny. Even after i get my Deluxe I'll probably have them bury me on my FXDL. I ride with all kind of riders (Humble 420 Crew .. werd!), Harleys, Metric cruisers from this site (M109 baby!) .. ect. ect.

Everyone rides for different reasons. For me its not about the gas, or racing, or showing off .. its about the Wild Hogs man .. open road, wind in your hair (lid or no lid), and friends. Big whoop a sport bike blows past me. Its really fun when they blow past me and the rider is standing on his seat .. now thats something to brag about lol. Im not worried about the white trash in the pickups that want to be louder then me, or the cages that want to outrun me, or the rice burners that want to show how much faster they are for less money. I get respect off my bike so I have nothing to prove when i'm on it.

Don't let your ego outweigh your bike bro .. im sure the Dyna was just toying with you anyways.

BTW- Kacivic - My dad and I have built from dirt and its a big pain in the in my opinion. If you are really that worried about cash buy used and customize from there. I've changed the same parts on my bike multiple times until it looks the way I want it. I see other bikes and get new ideas and change stuff again ..

I think Harley's ROCK!

The wife and I are thinking of picking up a pair of Street Bobs or Dynas to ride around on. We rented a couple for the weekend to see how they ride. What we found out was that the Bobs and Dynas seem to be the best balance between performance and handling. They lean very well through the sweeps and that giant 96 ci twin is instant on with the torque to push through. The sixth gear helps on the open road.
We are sold on them, just working out the math on the $40K buy in.

I wonder how my will look in Chaps?
lol...

Wow, I am both suprised and pleased at the amount of discussion I have initiated. I was just proud of my new ride, and the level of acceleration it is capable of. Now that Suzuki has announced it will not be manufacturing it in 2009, the king will become a collectible!

I can't wait to see the discussion that statement will generate!
