just wait man by the time the new models come out you will be able to pick up a good bike at a great price in about november... when it gets cold is when to get a bike... winter are the best deals because they just sit for the most part

Bro,

I payed 2k for my 96 ZX7R. It did need a lil work but it was clean. I would offer 1800 and see what he says.

something is not right with that bike.. maybe it was wrecked or something.. the ad says "1996 CBR" - OK, the whole set of fairings including headlight is 91-94 CBR F2 but for the front fender is 95-96 CBR F3. front wheel appears to be F3; shock and rear pegs seems to be 94 F2 95-98 F3.
I'll check if the gauges are F2 or F3... big difference there. F2's reads speed from the front wheel and F3's from a sensor in the engine. If it has a F2 speedo with a F3 motor, the speedo will not work and viceversa. Check the frame and vin number and if you can, take the rear left tail panel and double check the stickers in the frame.. it will give more info about what kind of CBR you have in front.

Good luck.
Nick.
