Bought the SV for the track so that was my vote since I seem to like twins.

all great bikes.

I'd have a hard time deciding between the vfr and the f4. Both are gonna have a bit different feel, but both amazing bikes.

Probably go with the f4 though. Maybe because it's newer and easier to find mods for.

I agree w/C.Hern the F4i b/c it's an SS....the SV b/c it's close enough but not quite an SS so you get the insurance break and it's still fun

but see which one you like better Jack....then come down and we'll ride

Out of those 3, I'd get the VFR.
More comfy, better wind protection, V4, and it's a honda.

I'd say the SV650S if ur learning or want to do track days in ur future, they have great torque, sounds great, very manuverable and forgiving, easy to learn and have fun on twisties! YES I OWN one and mine has more than stock involved and top speed is about 146 to 152..Not the fastest of the ones u asked about, But dont buy ur first bike for speed, buy it for letting ur learn and enjoy the ride! Good luck..

oh and why?

reliable.

fast.

easy to get parts for.

you can track it/stunt it/daily ride it.

and when you are done with it, it will be easy to sell.

you just told him to make his own decisions, then you joke about him getting what you think is the best bike.
